The village of Gostun is located in a mountaineous area, around 4-5 kilometers of the village of Mesta, of the main road to Gotse Delchec. It is part of the Municipality of Bansko.
History:
Until 1934 the village was named Gusun. According to historical data, in 19th century residents of the village were mainly shepherds and few masons. At the time, there were around 100 households in it.
